Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
You'll notice that our Worship and Leadership team are dressed in more formal attire, but you'll find us dressed in a variety of ways - from formal to casual. Sunday services are typically more "dressy," whereas Midweek services are more casual.
Do you offer guest parking?
We have safe street parking right in front of the church in addition to a small parking area in back of the church. We also have greeters that will meet you outside to help you find your way.
How long is Sunday service?
Our worship services usually last about an hour and a half.
What is a typical Sunday service like?
A typical worship service is about an hour and a half and includes worship through music and song, an uplifting message given by our pastor, and an altar call. We encourage you to bring your Bible to the church service. You can open your Bible and follow along during the sermon. We also encourage you to take notes on the message and ask us about any questions you have. Discover Detroit Hope Center's Worship Service
What's a typical midweek Service like?
Midweek church service is to encourage you in your personal relationship with God by studying the Bible together. This service is different than Sunday service in that it's typically focused on learning about a passage of scripture, theme, or series. It usually includes a brief song service followed by a lesson.
Is there something for the kids?
Yes! DHC Kids is a safe, fun, dynamic environment for those who are 4-11 years old. DHC Kids meet in the kid's church area downstairs every Sunday during our morning service.
What kind of music do you sing?
We typically worship with easy-to-follow songs in a variety of styles that encourage everyone to participate. We have worship singers and a band to lead as we lift our hands, voices, and hearts together in worship.
Who is the pastor?
We are blessed to have Pastor Joe Giunta as our Pastor. He and his wife Jessica are the founding Pastors of Detroit Hope Center.
